Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Ultra Thin 1948
Back in 2011 Jaeger-LeCoultre released the Reverso Ultra thin 1931 to celebrate the 80th anniversary and it was for many Reverso enthusiasts and collectors one of the best Reverso ever made. Since then they made several models.
Still part of the Ultra Thin collection, Jaeger-LeCoultre released in 2014 the Reverso Ultra Thin 1948, a tribute to a vintage Reverso.
The dial is white lacquered and has blue stamped hour markers that match the blue facetted baton-type hands. Functions include hours, minutes and small seconds. Inside, is caliber 822/2, a manually wound manufacture movement with a 45-hour power reserve.
The case-back is inscribed with “1000 Hours Control,” which refers to the industry leading 1000 hours of testing that each Jaeger-LeCoultre timepiece goes through before being delivered for sale.
It is also inscribed with "Special Edition" because it was a boutique exclusive model and had a very limited production. only 100 units where made of this model which makes this Reverso a very cool and very rare example.
On this occasion, Mr Watchley fitted a handmade, unique, blue Casa Fagliano cordovan strap with white stitches matching the dial.
