Jaeger-LeCoultre Deep Sea Chronograph Cermet Special Edition

Sold

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Deep Sea Chronograph Cermet Special Edition was first released in 2015. Inspired by his big brother (the non limited version), this version truly makes collectors dream.

A special edition for the collectors, with its tropical hands and hour-markers and was exclusively available in the Jaeger-LeCoultre boutiques.

This three-counter chronograph movement takes its aesthetic inspiration from the the 1959 Memovox Deep Sea model. The chronograph operating indicator is inspired by the Jaeger-LeCoultre 1930s “chronoflight” onboard instrument. A diver needs to be able to see at a glance whether the disc shows that the chronograph is ready for use (white), in operation (white/red) or stopped (red). Its high-tech case is made of reinforced cermet.

This watch features an automatic movement beating at a frequency of 28800 bph to provide a 65-hour power reserve when fully wound.

On the caseback, an engraving of a diver inspired by the original Deep Sea from 1959 with the "Special Edition" inscription above. Less than 150 units have been manufactured of the ultra rara model.

This watch is brand new and has never been worn. NOS condition
