In 2011, Jaeger-LeCoultre celebrated the Reverso’s 80th anniversary with a selection of special models. Among them was the Grande Reverso Ultra Thin 1931 US Edition, a refined take on the classic design. Unlike the standard Grande Reverso 1931, which featured sword hands and was not limited, this exclusive version—limited production piece—boasted syringe hands, a nod to the original 1931 model.

The watch exudes sophistication with its sleek black dial, elongated hour markers filled with yellowed lume, and matching luminescent hands. The syringe-shaped hands add a distinctive touch, enhancing its vintage character. A finely executed railroad track frames the dial, reinforcing its timeless elegance.

True to its heritage, this model keeps branding minimal, displaying only the ‘Reverso’ name, just like the earliest versions. Released exclusively for the US market, it remains highly sought after by collectors for its faithful homage to the early Reverso and its ideal proportions.

The Movement

Powering this timepiece is the in-house Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 822 movement. With a 45-hour power reserve and a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, this manual-wind movement ensures reliable performance and complements the watch's elegant design.

Measuring 46mm x 27mm with a thickness of just 7.4mm, the Ultra Thin Reverso is a delight to wear. Its height and proportions make it comfortable on a variety of wrist sizes, and while it leans towards being a dress watch, it pairs well with casual outfits too.

Condition & Set

This particular example is in great condition with only minor signs of wear. It comes with 2 original Casa Fagliano straps and a black alligator strap from Jaeger-LeCoultre, offering a more casual look. The watch is presented in its original set, including outer and inner boxes, papers, and a manual.
