Roger Dubuis Hommage Chronograph H34 560

Roger Dubuis today has very little to do with the watchmaker himself but when he created the Hommage collection, you see a genuine reflection of the man himself

This Roger Dubuis Hommage H34 is one of the rarest Hommage pieces we've seen. This watch was made by Roger Dubuis himself, before Roger Dubuis became a Richemont owned brand name in 2008. It is one of only 28 pieces and it was manufactured by the watchmaker between 1995 and 2000

The pink gold case is very distinct with its polished, concave bezel and brushed lugs. The body structure gives the watch a larger impression on the wrist than the 34 mm case would normally do. 

The design has a two-register chronograph and a combination of a black sector-dial and a reversed panda dial. The dial is painted with luminous Arabic numerals and minute markers, which add a nice contrast against the black dial and compliment well the creamy white sub-registers. The feuilles-shaped hands are rose gold and filled with luminous material.

The watch is powered by the manual Cal. RD 56 (based on the Lemania 2310), The complexity of the movement is revealed through an engraved sapphire case-back. 

The watch bears the Seal of Geneva and was regulated by Roger Dubuis himself. At the time of production, it was mainly Patek Philippe movements that carried the Seal of Geneva. That is why Mr Dubuis felt it was crucial to have the same hallmark

The watch is fitted with a suede brown strap that contrast well with the dial and the pink gold case.
