Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Speed Beat E875.42 Full Set

Sold

Presented here is a Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Speed Beat reference E875.42

The "Speed Beat" referring to the new Cal 916 movement which have the higher 28.800 beats per hour compared to earlier Memovox with the Cal 825, 18.000 beats per hour.

The Memovox was manufactured in the early 70's and is one of the only Jaeger-LeCoultre with the "JL" sign at 9 o'clock separated from its name.

It has a Blue dial that is rare to see these days and especially in a full set like this one. The Memovox was sold in 1989 by "Piaget & Fils", almost 20 years after its production year. This must have been a "NOS" watch that was not popular in that time but today its is one of the most sought after memovox due to its beautiful blue dial and oversized case (37 mm)

The Memovox is in a mint untouched condition with a small patina on the dial. not much but you can see some ageing on the dial. The case is in a very good condition and it has the original JL-signed crowns.

Also the bracelet is original to the watch, signed JL on the buckle, giving the watch a very cool retro look. A leather strap can be mounted if wanted.

The set includes the original box, warranty booklet, warranty card, Memovox manual, JLC tag and to finish off, an original 70's "Memovox catalogue" is added to the set with the model presented in it, just to make the set even cooler and unique.
