Jaeger rare vintage "jumbo" chronograph
introduced here, a very nice and unusual yellow gold chronograph by Jaeger (later Jaeger-LeCoultre). The model has a three body construction: a snap on inclined gold bezel bearing the plexi crystal, a yellow gold case with large lugs, rectangular chronograph pushers, a snap on gold case and a back engraved deeply with both case number and reference number. The size between the lugs is 16 mm.
Under the plexi glass, we find a very well preserved slightly patinated black dial, a minute division, an outer second division.
Inside is ticking a Jaeger signed movement, rhodium-plated, with column-wheel mechanism, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, monometallic balance with timing screws, index regulator. The chronograph bridge is signed « Jaeger ». Dial, case and movement are signed
Rare and unusual, this Jaeger is a perfect addition to any vintage watch collection.
